Dartford (kent): Dr A.K Muthappan's wife Mrs Palakasseril Neelakantan Kusumam (75), a kerala native, died today (June 18, 2022) due to a short illness.
Kusumam was born in Kanjaveli village in Thrikkaruva panchayath in Kollam district,Kerala state. She worked as an English Lecturer in Sasthamcotta D.B College, Kerala. She married Dr. Muthappan in 1972. She arrived in the UK in 1975 with her husband. In the UK, Kusum worked for the Kent County Council, which teaches English to foreign nationals.

Children Dr. Arun Muthappan and Ashok Muthappan;
Nieces and nephews: Linda and Marta; Grandchildren Luke, Elise, Alexander, James and William.
