Met Éireann has warned that there is a chance of thunder and lightning this afternoon and evening, with the potential for flooding and dangerous driving conditions in some areas of the affected counties.
Also, a thunderstorm warning has been issued for Antrim, Armagh, Down, Fermanagh, Tyrone and Derry in the UK. The warning will be in effect from noon to 9 p.m. today.
