Dubai: The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has opened a special underground route exclusively for cyclists in the Maidan area.
Cyclists in Dubai now have more tracks as a specially designed new tunnel opened on Tuesday. Now you can ride your bicycle through the city of Dubai without being disturbed by other vehicles.
The cycling tunnel is 160 meters long and 6.6 meters wide and has a capacity to accommodate around 800 cycles per hour, ensuring free and unhindered movement along the Maidan cycling track.
