Ireland Malayali Jain Puramadam 51 passed away. Jain, a native of Aluva, in Kerala state, fell in his home and was under treatment for the past few days. He was admitted to Beaumont Hospital and was given expert treatment, but his life could not be saved.
His wife Shibi and eight-year-old daughter went home for vacation last week. They had returned to Ireland this morning after hearing about the accident. The death was confirmed at 5.00 pm today.
He moved to Drogheda a few years ago from Phibs Borough, Dublin. He was employed by Bus Eireann in Ireland.
