Car accident in Ireland: Two Indians died, 2 hospitalized; 3 died on the same road, the same day last year;

Two young Indian men died in a car accident in Laigh, Rathoy, Carlow, Ireland at around 1.15 am on Friday, while another young man and a woman in the vehicle were admitted to St. Luke's General Hospital with serious injuries. 

The deceased have been identified as Hyderabad natives Suresh Chaudhary and Chithori Bhargav. All four Indians are in their twenties and are reportedly graduates of Carlow South East Technological University.

The accident occurred last night when the Audi A6 car they were travelling in crashed into a tree while they were returning to Carlow Town after visiting Mount Leinster.

Gardaí have appealed for anyone with information about the accident to contact camera footage (including dash-cam), Carlow Garda Station on 059 913 6620, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.

Three young people died in a crash on the same road on the same day last year. Daryl Culbert, from Kiltegan, Wicklow; Michael Kelly, from Noorne, Carlow - both in their early 20s; and Katie Graham, from Arles, also aged 19. 

Gardaí have completely closed the N80 for a forensic examination of the road. The N80 in League is closed today for a technical examination of the scene, with diversions in place.
