Amazon has launched its first Irish website, Amazon.ie.
You can try Amazon.ie Prime by signing up for a 30-day free trial . After that, you'll have to pay €6.99 for a Prime membership. Irish customers can now buy products without worrying about additional customs charges
Amazon.ie offers a vast selection of over 200 million products priced in Euros . Irish customers can now enjoy next-day delivery on millions of products without additional customs charges.
Free delivery from Amazon
Free delivery is available if you order items eligible for delivery within the Republic of Ireland.
Orders of €10 or more on eligible books shipped by Amazon qualify for free standard delivery. All orders of €25 or more (including local VAT) on eligible items shipped by Amazon in any product category qualify for free standard delivery.
To order with free standard delivery:
- Add at least €10 worth of books shipped by Amazon or at least €25 worth of all other eligible items shipped by Amazon to your shopping cart. Any item that has the message "Free Delivery" on the product detail page is eligible and will contribute towards your free delivery order minimum. Items sold and fulfilled by Marketplace sellers do not contribute towards your free delivery order minimum.

From today, customers can also join Prime on Amazon.ie for €6.99 per month . Membership includes fast and free delivery, exclusive deals like Prime Day, shopping events, award-winning TV shows, movies including the UEFA Champions League on Prime Video, live sports, free games on Prime Gaming, and exclusive offers with partners including Odeon Cinemas and Deliveroo.
Customers in Ireland with a UK Prime membership can easily switch, and when they do so, their UK Prime membership will be cancelled and refunded. All customers, including those switching from a UK membership, can try Amazon.ie Prime by signing up for a free 30-day trial.
Irish businesses, large and small, including Barry's Tea, Beaulies and Ella & Joe, will soon be available on the 'Brands of Ireland' page.
