Operation Sindoor; 100 terrorists and 35 to 40 Pakistani soldiers have been killed, Pakistan airbases destroyed. Five Indian soldiers martyred:

New Delhi: The defence forces have confirmed the martyrdom of five Indian soldiers in the encounter that took place after Operation Sindoor.

The Indian Army has released images of terror camps in Pakistan that were destroyed by the Indian army as part of Operation Sindoor, which dealt a heavy blow to the Pahalgam terror attack. The satellite images were produced by Indian space analytics firm Kavspace and China-based Misasvision.

DGMO Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai had stated that nine terror camps in Pakistan were destroyed and around 100 terrorists were killed. He explained the strikes carried out as part of Operation Sindoor by releasing footage of the terrorist camps destroyed in the Indian Army's attack.

"35 to 40 Pakistani soldiers have been killed. We did not look at the number of soldiers killed. Because they were not our target," the army said in a press conference. Meanwhile, the army confirmed that the India-Pakistan ceasefire agreement is in limbo.

We are watching what Pakistan will do. The army has also clarified that Pakistan has not yet responded to the message given by the DGMO. Pakistan attacked India at night. Therefore, we are monitoring the situation on the border. The army has also clarified that if there is any attack, we will give a strong response.

DGMO Lt. Gen. Rajiv Ghai said that the situation is being closely monitored today. All three forces worked together. We cannot speculate about the weapons used. We are not looking at how many of their men died. Let them count. It was expected that Pakistan would violate the ceasefire agreement. We have strongly confronted Pakistan's actions in violation of the agreement.

Many of their fighter jets were shot down. The exact number cannot be said. Pakistan did not cross the border by land or sea. They crossed the airspace, which was a widespread attack. It is not possible to differentiate whether each attack was by terrorists or the Pakistani army. But each attack was repulsed strongly. The situation on the border is being monitored. If there is any attack, the response will be severe.

When asked if there was an attack attempt in Karachi, Vice Admiral A N Pramod replied that the Indian Navy is ten times stronger than the Pakistani Navy. The army clarified that Pakistan knows this and knows what kind of retaliation will be in case of any kind of attack.

You are already aware that my communication with Pakistan DGMO took place on 10 May at 15:35 hrs which resulted in cessation of cross border firing and air intrusions between the two sides from 17:00 hrs, 10 May, when they proposed a ceasefire to us. We have decided to communicate again on 12 May at 12:00 hrs to discuss modalities to sustain this understanding in the long term COAS has conducted a security review earlier today and has given full powers to our Army commanders to retaliate in the kinetic domain in case of any violation by Pakistan - DGMO Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai, during press briefing on Operation Sindoor
