According to local media outlet Prothom Alo, the aircraft took off at approximately 1:06 PM and crashed minutes later in the residential Diabari area. The crash site, located on the roof of the college canteen, saw immediate emergency response. Three fire service units were deployed to the scene, and rescue efforts were swiftly initiated.

Fire Service and Civil Defence authorities later confirmed at least one fatality. “Our team has recovered one body from the site. The Air Force rescued four injured individuals and transported them to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH),” said Lima Khanam, duty officer at the Fire Service Central Control Room, as quoted by bdnews24.

While the identity of the deceased remains unconfirmed, authorities have not yet released any information regarding the status of the aircraft’s pilot or crew.
