Abdullah Khan "is an Irish man, he is not a Pakistani man" - Gardai say misinformation is circulating online following attack on Gardai in Dublin city centre.
This man is an Irish man with Irish citizenship and an Irish passport, but the radical Irish community in Ireland says he is not..!! Online discussions are intensifying...
Some people say.. ..just having a passport is not enough..even being born here is not enough..the law allows it, that too is not enough..foreigners..have..his blood is like ours, isn't it..this is how the discussions go..what comes out of the discussions..
Also, Ireland, a European (EU) country, has been in the news for some time now. An Indian man who came to work at AMAZON was attacked by a group of children, stripped naked and celebrated, and then many Indian communities held protests against this. Even the Indian Embassy was given various warnings. Yet, when the attacks continue unabated, the Irish community is inflaming the situation..!! Continues..
Meanwhile, an attack on the Garda (Irish police) took place in Ireland. The extremist local community spread misinformation on various social media groups that this attack was carried out by foreigners, and also blamed it on foreign immigrants from India, Pakistan, etc.
But the spread of misinformation following the assault of a probationary garda in Dublin on Tuesday was labelled "worrying", national channel RTE reported.
That is, from the time a foreign immigrant takes the Oath (constitutional oath) and obtains citizenship and obtains a passport in Ireland, he becomes a full Irish citizen. He pledges allegiance to the Irish nation. But the essence of the new controversial discussions is that the radical indigenous Irish community cannot accept this...
A 20-year-old man, identified as Abdullah Khan, of "Irish origin", has been charged following the stabbing of a garda in Dublin city centre in connection with the Capel Street incident that took place just after 6pm on Tuesday, RTE reported.
The garda, who was on patrol at the time, was stabbed in what officers described as an unprovoked attack, RTE reports. He was taken to hospital for treatment and later discharged.
Paul Cleary, Assistant Garda Commissioner for the Dublin Metropolitan Area, speaking on RTE's Morning Ireland, said there had been a significant amount of misinformation circulating online about the incident,
"We have some people with their own agendas who are trying to use incidents like this to inflame the situation for their own ends," he said, according to RTE.
