KADABA: Police have registered a case against a Facebook user operating under the profile name “Ibrahim Mitthodi ExMuslim” for allegedly posting provocative content that could hurt religious sentiments and incite communal discord.
According to the complaint filed by K. Abdul Hakeem (35), a resident of Kadaba taluk, he came across the objectionable post on August 30. Acting on his complaint, Kadaba Police booked the case under Sections 353(2) and 299 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
Investigations are underway, officials said.
