BJP Unveils Final Campaign Strategy for 2025 Bihar Assembly Elections

Patna, Oct. 11, 2025 — With the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections fast approaching, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has finalized its campaign strategy and released a list of its star campaigners. The high-profile roster includes Prime Minister Narendra Modi, four Chief Ministers, several Union Ministers, and Members of Parliament.

Massive “Carpet Bombing” Campaign Across Bihar

In a major show of strength, the BJP has prepared an extensive campaign plan dubbed the “Carpet Bombing” strategy — aimed at saturating every corner of Bihar with its election message. The party will deploy a strong contingent of national and regional leaders for intensive campaigning from October 15 to 17.

Prime Minister Modi Leads the Campaign Front

At the forefront of the BJP’s campaign is Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who will headline multiple rallies and public meetings across Bihar. The Prime Minister’s presence is expected to be the centerpiece of the BJP’s outreach efforts.

Following him closely in popularity and public demand is Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who will kick off his Bihar campaign on October 16. Known for his strong public connect, especially in border regions with significant minority populations, Yogi’s rallies are expected to draw massive crowds.

Over 100 MLAs From Uttar Pradesh to Join the Campaign

To strengthen booth-level coordination and constituency management, the BJP has assigned more than 100 MLAs from Uttar Pradesh to assist in specific constituencies across Bihar.
Former minister Dr. Mahendra Singh will oversee election management in around 40 constituencies, while Water Resources Minister Swatantra Dev Singh will lead campaign efforts in six districts to boost the party’s organizational presence.

Amit Shah and JP Nadda to Spearhead the Campaign’s Core Phase

Union Ministers Amit Shah and JP Nadda will launch their campaign in Bihar on October 15, focusing on promoting the BJP’s development agenda. Both leaders are expected to conduct a series of rallies designed to intensify the election atmosphere.
Senior leaders such as Shivraj Singh Chouhan will campaign on October 17, followed by Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari on October 18.

Film and Bhojpuri Stars Add Star Power to BJP’s Drive

In addition to political heavyweights, popular Bhojpuri and Bollywood personalities will also join the campaign trail. Bhojpuri singer and MP Manoj Tiwari, actor-MP Ravi Kishan, and veteran Bollywood icon Hema Malini are scheduled to hold roadshows and public meetings on October 17 and 18, adding glamour and mass appeal to the BJP’s outreach.

Multiple Chief Ministers to Campaign in Bihar

Alongside Yogi Adityanath, several Chief Ministers will campaign across Bihar, underscoring the BJP’s national focus on the state. Among them are Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis, Delhi CM Rekha Gupta, Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, Rajasthan Deputy CM Diya Kumari, Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak, and Madhya Pradesh CM Dr. Mohan Yadav.

Free LPG Cylinder Scheme Under PM Ujjwala Yojana

As part of its welfare outreach, the BJP is also highlighting the Free LPG Cylinder Scheme under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, exclusively for women beneficiaries. Under this initiative, Ujjwala consumers will receive free cylinders during the festive season.

Beneficiaries must first purchase the cylinder from their local agency, after which the government reimburses the subsidy amount directly into their bank accounts — effectively making the cylinder free.

E-KYC Mandatory for Benefits

To avail of the scheme, beneficiaries must complete their e-KYC process through the official Ujjwala Yojana website by selecting their gas provider (Indane, HP, Bharat Gas, etc.) and following the on-screen instructions. Those unable to complete it online can visit their nearest gas agency. Failure to do so may lead to delayed reimbursements.

Eligibility and Benefits

Women who have not yet enrolled under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana can still apply. Eligible women receive a free gas connection, stove, regulator, pipe, and the first filled cylinder, along with a ₹300 subsidy per cylinder (up to nine cylinders annually). For smaller 5 kg cylinders, the subsidy is proportional to the weight. Only women aged 18 years or above are eligible to apply and benefit from this scheme.
