Dublin: CSJ Sister. Joan (90) Kuzhivelil, a Keralite nun from Kaduthuruthy, Arunassery (Kerala) , living Ireland, passed away.
Sister Joan Kuzhivelil, a member of the CSJ St. Joseph's nunnery, passed away on January 5 at St. Joseph's Community Nursing Home, Raheen, Dublin.
Sister Joan was retired after serving as a teacher in mission schools in India and abroad, and after a long period of service in Ireland.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady Mother of Divine Grace Church in Raheen, Ireland.
Arrangements will be made for a public viewing of the body of the deceased at Jennings Funeral Home, Spring Dale Road, on Tuesday from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
She is the daughter of the late M. V. John and Elikkutty couple of Kuzhivelil, Arunassery, Kottayam, Kerala.
