New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that stricter action will be taken against the NEET exam question paper leak.

The Prime Minister's response was in a video message shared on social media at 11:52 pm on Thursday.
"Friends, I know that question paper leaks are not a common issue. It is a matter of great pain for lakhs of students and their parents. The government took swift action after the question paper leak incidents. Therefore, several important steps have been taken in the last two and a half months. The culprits have been caught and are now in jail," said the Prime Minister.
The Prime Minister announced that the Union Cabinet will formulate a draft bill that will ensure strict punishment and speedy trial for the criminals and will present the bill in Parliament next week. The Prime Minister said in a video message that stricter action will be taken against the question paper leak in the Cabinet meeting to be held today.
