NEW DELHI — Students pursuing artificial intelligence (AI) projects and research can apply for the IndiaAI Fellowship 2026–27, which offers financial support of up to ₹1 lakh for eligible undergraduate students and ₹2 lakh for eligible postgraduate students.
The fellowship is part of the IndiaAI Mission under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. Eligible undergraduate, integrated dual-degree and postgraduate students can apply, subject to the programme’s academic and other requirements.
Eligibility depends on the course and semester. Students in specified stages of undergraduate and integrated programmes, as well as eligible postgraduate students, may qualify. Additional support may also be available to eligible students presenting research papers at international conferences, subject to the scheme’s conditions.
The application deadline is November 30, 2026. Students should check the official portal for eligibility criteria, required documents and application instructions.
