Michelle Schoen, of Indian origin girl from Ireland, made history today by defeating Anne Mauritius of Denmark in the final of the German U17 Open Badminton Tournament. Ireland's Under-17 badminton player Michelle defeated Anne Mouritsen 23-21 21-18 in the girls' singles final at Gladbach, Bergisch Germany.
Michelle defeated Clara Ayuso Thevenet of France to reach the final of the Under - 17 German Open.
