Ireland: India beat Ireland by 4 runs to win the series Without disturbing the excitement of the crowded audience In the second and final T20I match against Ireland, India scored 227 for seven. There was no change in Ireland's playing XI.

The first match was delayed due to rain but the second match was played at Dublin, Malahide, Stadium at 4:30 pm (9.00pm Indian time). India have come up with three changes, including Samson, to replace the injured Gaikwad. Hershel and Bishnoi replace Avesh and Chahal.

India captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and elected to bat first in the second T20I against Ireland. India, led by Hardik Pandya, won the second T20I against Ireland by four runs to win the series 2-0. Batting first, India put up a huge score of 225/7 on the board. Deepak Hooda (104) scored a century. He hit 9 fours and 6 sixes in 57 balls.

India lost Ishant Kishan for the first time after opting to bat. Deepak Hooda scored 104 while Sanju Samson scored 77 to take India to a huge total. Sanju hit nine fours and four sixes in 42 balls. In T20I, Sanju's high score of 39 was corrected. 

For Ireland, Mark Adair took three wickets, Craig Young and Josh Little two.

Sanju found great support from Samson in the comeback match 77 (42). In reply, Ireland chased down the last ball of the match as they scored 221/5 in their 20 overs. Paul Sterling and Andrew Balbirnie added 72 runs for the opening wicket before Ravi Bishnoi swept for 40 (18). With Hardik Pandya out, the hosts lost two wickets in a row.

Balbirnie was later dismissed for 60 (37). Umran Malik also took his maiden international wicket in the form of  Lorcan Tucker, who was bowled out for 5 by substitute fielder Yuzvendra Chahal.

Hector Tucker was the last Irish batsman to be dismissed by Bhuvneshwar Kumar for 39 (28). Bhubaneswar conceded 46 runs in their four overs. Herschelle Patel conceded 54 in his quota. Ravi Bishnoi and Umran Malik also announced their presence

In the first match, 12 overs were played. With 16 balls to spare, India overtook Ireland's 109-run target.
