NEW DELHI: Customs officials arrested two Indians with 45 pistols at New Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport on Wednesday.
An investigation is underway to find out if the guns are real or not. The National Security Guard (NSG) counter-terrorism unit, which is investigating the case, reported that the firearms were 'completely real'.
"But in a preliminary report, National Security Guard (NSG) has confirmed that the guns are fully functional," a customs official said.
The two arrested have been identified as Jagjit Singh and Jaswinder Kaur who happen to be husband and wife.
