IRELAND: Former Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr Tony Holohan is taking up a new role as Professor of Public Health at University College Dublin (UCD).
Dr Tony Holohan said he will not be paid for the position.

Principal of the UCD College of Health and Agricultural Sciences Professor Cecily Kelleher, , said: "I am delighted to announce that outgoing Chief Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan has taken up a five year appointment as Adjunct Full Professor at UCD, affiliated to the College of Health and Agricultural Sciences.
On July 1, Dr. Tony Holohan has officially resigned as CMO and he said he would step down as CMO and take up a position at Trinity College Dublin.
