Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi's resignation comes as Rajya Sabha term ends
tomorrow.
The prominent minority face of the Bharatiya Janta Party, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, resigned from the post of Minority Affairs Minister ,day before his Rajya Sabha(Union Cabinet) tenure expires tomorrow.
At the assembly, PM Modi praised Naqvi for his commitment to the nation and its individuals as a serve. Beside Naqvi, the PM heaped praise on Naqvi Rajya Sabha colleague, Slam Chandra Prasad Singh.
After the
meeting, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi met BJP president JP Nadda at the party
headquarters in the national capital.
