India's 76th Independence Day and 75th Anniversary of Independence "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" was organized by the Indian Embassy in Ireland. The event was streamed live on the Embassy's Facebook page.
India's 76th Independence Day was celebrated on Monday, August 15, 2022 at 10.00 am at the Indian Embassy. Indian community members and friends and friends of India were cordially invited to participate in the flag hoisting ceremony.
People from various walks of life participated in the celebration ceremony held at the Embassy of India on Merrion Road, where flag hoisting and reading of the President's Independence Day message were held.
The ceremony started with the hoisting of the national flag by Indian Ambassador to Ireland Akhilesh Mishra. Indian Ambassador read President Draupadi Murmur's Independence Day message. Various dance, art and cultural events that followed raised India's reputation
