80 of the posts, according to the umbrella organisation for consultants, the Agricultural Consultants Association, would be in advisory roles, and 50 will be in administration.
The hiring process has already begun.
As agri consultants prepare to help farmers with grant applications and with compliance schemes in the new Common Agriculture Policy that will be launched in January, graduates in agriculture and the environment are among those being sought.
Noel Feeney, the president of the ACA, stated that their members are thrilled to be growing at a crucial moment for farmers in the nation.
"The creation of these roles means more farmers can prepare for important changes, particularly in relation to Common Agricultural Policy. We are proud to see the roles spread across the country and boost local communities. All Ireland."
ACA members currently employ more than 400 people in 168 offices.
