Orlando: Gayatri Sreelatha, a Malayali, will represent India in the Miscosmos International Competition to be held from July 4 to 9 in Orlando, Florida, USA.
Gayatri was selected as Miscosmos India in the competition held in Mumbai last August. Gayatri won the competition out of more than 1000 contestants from various states of India who made it to the finals. With this, he qualified to participate in Miscosmos International. An organization called The International Glamor Project (TIGP) organized the preliminary competitions in India last August. The panel of judges was chaired by famous Bollywood actress and former Miss India Celina Jaitley.
Gayathri, an engineering graduate, works as a senior manager at Tata Motors. A dancer and kathakali artiste, Gayathri has performed in India and abroad. He has also acted in music albums and a few short films.
From state of kerala,Pathanamthitta, Who is an engineer in Dubai, is the daughter of Satish Kumar, a native of Malayalapuzha, and Dr. Srilatha. Gopi Krishnanshna, the only brother, is an engineering student. Since 1951, the Miscosmos International competition has been held in different countries of the world, and this time more than 100 contestants representing the countries of the world and various American states will participate.
Crown Garlands LLC, an organization officially recognized by the President of the United States of America, has been organizing the competition for many years. This year's Themis Cosmos International Grand Finale will begin on July 8 at 3:00 p.m. US time, following preliminary rounds from July 4 at the Omni Resort venues in Orlando.
