October 4 - Durga Puja (Maha Navami) - Karnataka, Odisha, Sikkim, Kerala, Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar, Jharkhand, Meghalaya
October 5 - Vijaya Dashami - Banks will be closed in all states except Manipur
October 6 - Durga Puja - Banks in Gangtok and Sikkim will be closed
October 7 - Banks in Gangtok and Sikkim will be closed
October 22- Fourth Saturday
October 23 - Sunday
October 24 - Diwali
October 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th will be bank holidays as they are Sundays. October 8th and 22nd are the second and fourth Saturdays
There are so many holidays in this month because of various celebrations in different states. But all these holidays may not be applicable to Kerala. Holidays like Navratri, Durga Puja, Gandhi Jayanti, Dussehra and Diwali are coming in this month.
