A nationwide warning for ice and nighttime fog has been issued by Met Éireann.
The forecaster warned that Sunday night and into the early hours of Monday morning, some areas could experience hazardous driving conditions due to icy patches and patches of freezing fog.
The status yellow warning is in effect from Sunday at 11 p.m. until Monday at 11 a.m.

The weather on Monday will be chilly and frosty with icy patches and freezing fog. The majority of the country will experience a cold day, with highs of 1 to 5 degrees expected.
