The national flag installed on the second floor balcony of India House, the headquarters of the Indian High Commission in London, was destroyed on Sunday afternoon. The violence was perpetrated by a small group raising pro-Khalistan slogans. The assailants broke the windows of the High Commission and attacked the security personnel who tried to stop the violence.
Today (21-03-2023, Tuesday) at 11 am at India House, London, thousands of people flocked to the protest program organized by the Indian High Commission. Indians expressed shock and sorrow at the fact that the national flag of India, the world's largest democracy, was insulted in front of the Indian High Commission in London. They demanded that the incident, which hurt the self-esteem of every Indian, should be condemned and the culprits should be given severe punishment.
