Update on the school transport application process for the 2023/24 school year. The school transport scheme provides a bus service to and from school for children living far from their nearest school. The scheme is operated by Bus Éireann on behalf of the Department for Education.
Applications for primary or post-primary school transport schemes should be made online. The deadline for receiving applications for the upcoming academic year is the last Friday in April.
