The Communications Regulation Commission (ComReg) has recalled models of Bluebell baby monitors.
Anyone who purchased one of the products is advised to "immediately stop use" and contact their supplier "to see if any remedies are available" because there is a "risk of not properly monitoring the child." ComReg said in a statement that the recall was due to a problem with data transfer between the monitor and the app that supports the monitor system, making the products unsafe to use.
According to Comreg, the affected models are Bluebell Baby Monitor 9-in-1, Bluebell 8-in-1 HD Baby Camera Monitor, Bluebell Smart Baby Monitor, Bluebell Baby Monitor 7-in-1, Bluebell Baby Monitor and Bluebell Baby Cam.
