Indians require an advance visa to travel to 177 countries, including China, Japan, Russia, the United States and European Union countries. E-Visa to Russia announced for Indian passport holders. From August 1, Indians can travel to Russia using e-Visa.
People from 52 countries, including India, can travel to Russia using the e-Visa. It takes four days to complete the procedures and issue the visa. Applicants have to pay a consular fee of $40 (about Rs. 3300) to get the visa.
You can travel to Russia with an eVISA for both tourism and business trips. The validity of single entry visa is 60 days. With this visa you can stay in the country for up to 16 days.
India is ranked 80th in the recently released Henley Passport Index 2023. India has improved its position in the list compared to last year. Indians can currently enter 57 countries through visa-free or visa-on-arrival mode.
Indians do not require an advance visa to travel to the Gulf countries of Oman and Qatar. With this, Indians can have hassle-free access to these countries. In the Middle East, Iran, Jordan, Oman and Qatar allow Indians to enter without a prior visa.
