Storm Betty affected Ireland, including most of Ireland's counties and Northern Ireland. A two-status orange wind and rain warning was issued. Storm Betty had sustained winds of up to 130 kilometers per hour. Widespread heavy rains caused spot flooding and travel disruption.
Storm Betty knocked out power, caused flooding and made roads dangerous as trees, branches and debris fell across much of the country's south last night and into early this morning.
A status yellow wind warning was in place for Leinster and Munster from 9pm last night until 6am this morning, with gusts of up to 110km/h forecast. A status orange rain warning was currently in place for seven counties.
A status yellow rain warning was in effect for Clare, Kerry, Limerick, Galway, Cavan, Donegal, Monaghan, Dublin, Kildare, Longford, Louth, Meath, Westmeath, Leitrim, Mayo, Roscommon and Sligo until 3am today.

Met Eireann has warned counties of heavy rain with thunderstorms and strong winds at times along the coast. Although the wind has died down now. Structural damage, downed trees, travel disruption, power outages, and local and coastal flooding continue.
Flooding has caused damage in coastal areas, Cork city and some other counties. All Met Éireann weather warnings have now been withdrawn but light winds remain in some areas.
ESB Networks will be working this afternoon through this evening to restore power to as many customers as possible. A significant number of affected customers will have their power restored by this evening. However, due to the extent of damage to the power grid, some customers in localized areas may remain without supply overnight.
They said in a statement that all available resources are being deployed to deal with all power outages in safe areas. Customers without power can check www.PowerCheck.ie for real-time updates on when their outage is expected to be resolved.
