Temperatures in Ireland are expected to reach 27C or higher over the next two days, with Met Eireann issuing a status yellow high temperature warning for Ireland.

The minimum temperature will not drop below 14C to 17C. Temperatures will rise to 26C in parts of the country today, with hot, humid and cloudy conditions expected.
Meteorologists have said that the weather will be very hot and humid tomorrow and Friday. Daytime temperatures are expected to exceed 27°C in many areas away from the coasts, with night time temperatures not dropping below 15°C.
