A status yellow rain warning has been issued for Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary, Donegal and Connacht(Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Roscommon and Sligo). The warning is in effect from midnight tomorrow to 6.00 am on Wednesday.
Met Éireann says the heavy rain is likely to cause localized flooding and travel disruption. Rain will ease in many parts during the day but heavy rain will continue tomorrow evening and night.
A status yellow wind warning has been issued for West Galway and Kerry. The warning is in effect from 5.00 pm tomorrow to 3.00am on Wednesday.
A second warning covers the potential for falling trees, loose debris blowing around, and difficult driving conditions.
