New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken tough measures as the India-Canada diplomatic row continues over the Khalistan issue.

It said Nijjar visited Pakistan to visit Khalistan Tiger Force chief Jagtar Singh Tara, who is wanted in the murder of former Punjab Chief Minister Beant Singh.
Earlier, Indian security agencies had released detailed documents about Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar and his activities. The NIA has moved to prepare a list of Khalistani terrorists operating in foreign countries including Britain, US, Canada, UAE and Pakistan. The action is under Section 33 (5) of the UAPA Act.
