New Delhi: The "Ilaya Dalapathy Vijay", who started his own political movement in Tamil Nadu, has said that political activity is not a hobby for him.

The first meeting of the party will be held on Saturday. Vijay will meet the district secretaries on Saturday. The actor entered politics at the age of 49. On January 26, Vijay announced his position in a meeting of party leaders called at his home. Vijay announced his decision to register his party with the Election Commission at the meeting of Vijay Makkal Iyakam, a fan association. A team headed by Busi Anand, General Secretary of Vijay Makkal Iyakam reached Delhi and completed the registration process.
The actor attended the meeting of Vijay Makkal Iyakam in Chennai last day for more than three hours.
