Kerry: The death of a father and daughter in a house fire in Kerry 10 years ago was found to be murder.
On May 12, 2012, Anthony O'Brien and his five-year-old daughter Nadine burned to death inside their home in Co Kerry, Ireland.
At around 2.30am, gardaà arrived on the scene after being alerted by local residents and found the two dead with severe burns.
The officers who conducted a detailed investigation into the incident had arrested a young man in his thirties last June but released him.
Gardai arrested two men in their 40s during scientific tests. According to a report released by gardaà sources, officers from Tralee and Killarney have been jailed pending investigation under section four of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
According to the report submitted by the officials to the court based on scientific evidence, these people are behind the incident.
At the same time, Anthony's wife, Kelly O'Brien, who jumped from the top floor when the fire broke out, was seriously injured.
Superintendent Jim O'Connor told the media that the long-standing mystery of the incident has been resolved and the culprits will be punished.
