Srinagar: The Congress-National Conference alliance has come to power in Jammu and Kashmir in elections held after a decade. Omar Abdullah himself may become the Chief Minister.
National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah also won from Budgam Constituency. Omar defeated Syed Mundasir Mehdi of PDP by 18000 votes.
