New Delhi: French Ambassador to India Thierry Mathou's phone was stolen while he was shopping in Delhi with his wife. The police recovered the stolen mobile phone and arrested four persons. The theft took place on October 20.
Thierry Mathou went shopping with his wife at Chandni Chowk market as part of Diwali. During this he was pickpocketed. An e-complaint was filed by the French ambassador that the phone was missing near the Jain Mandir.
Subsequently, the accused were arrested during the investigation conducted by the police focusing on CCTV. All four accused are aged between 20 and 25 years. The stolen mobile phone was also recovered from them.
