Doctors at Lilavati Hospital revealed that Saif’s injuries could have been fatal. The 2.5-inch knife used in the attack penetrated dangerously close to his spine. According to the attending physician, had the knife gone just one millimeter deeper, it could have led to spinal bone damage and the leakage of cerebrospinal fluid, placing Saif’s life in severe danger.
The medical team successfully operated on the actor, carefully removing the lodged portion of the knife from his spine. Saif is now in recovery, with doctors closely monitoring his condition.
