In a tragic incident in Lucknow, five members of a family were found murdered at a hotel in the Naka area early Wednesday morning, according to reports by news agency PTI. The accused, identified as 24-year-old Arshad, has been arrested, authorities confirmed.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Central Lucknow, Raveena Tyagi, stated, “The accused, identified as Arshad, allegedly killed five members of his own family. Following the gruesome act, the local police promptly apprehended the accused at the crime scene.”

The victims have been identified as Alia (9), Alshia (19), Aksa (16), Rahmeen (18)—all sisters of Arshad—and their mother, Asma. According to police, Arshad is a native of Agra, and the initial investigation suggests that the murders were triggered by domestic disputes.
