“The future belongs to science and technology, and it is the youth who must lead us forward,” the Minister stated. “Young people must be given the freedom and opportunities to shape the nation’s future. This generational shift is crucial not only in politics but across all sectors, including the judiciary.”
The Minister also underscored Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for a developed India through the holistic development of every family. Highlighting the importance of inclusive growth, he noted that transformative initiatives like providing food security to 800 million people and financial support through the Kisan Samman scheme are integral to this vision.
“It is not enough for politics alone to advance. Comprehensive development must extend to industries, the judiciary, and every facet of society,” he said. Leadership, he stressed, should not be seen as the domain of those with financial backing or familial influence, as such notions are contrary to Indian values.
Dr. C.V. Jayamani presided over the event, during which the Minister also released the book Gayatrippuzhayaude Theerangalil (On the Shores of Gayatripuzha), authored by O.K. Jijesh.
Prominent speakers at the gathering included J. Nandakumar, K.C. Sudhir Babu, and Sreedharan Puthumana. The event also featured vibrant cultural performances, including an energetic display by the Enavoor Kalarisangham under the leadership of Afzal Saheer, and a Mohiniyattam dance by Gayatri Madhusoodhan, inspired by the success of Chandrayaan.
The Minister concluded by reiterating the central role of science, technology, and the younger generation in achieving the vision of a developed India.
