Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) is poised to take center stage at Aero India 2025, highlighting its indigenous products and technological advancements at the India Pavilion. The state-owned aerospace and defence company announced its participation in the prestigious event, which commences on February 10 at Air Force Station Yelahanka.
The five-day exhibition will prominently feature HAL’s Light Utility Helicopter (LUH) and the CATS Warrior, both of which are expected to be key attractions.

The theme for HAL's participation—'Innovate. Collaborate. Lead'—underlines the company’s commitment to pioneering advancements, fostering global partnerships, and demonstrating leadership in the aerospace sector. The India Pavilion will serve as a platform for showcasing HAL’s cutting-edge capabilities in aircraft and helicopter design, development, and manufacturing.
Among the highlights of the exhibition, the LUH, a state-of-the-art helicopter designed and developed by HAL, will be showcased as a testament to the company’s engineering prowess. Additionally, the CATS Warrior, a futuristic unmanned combat air vehicle, will be on display, reflecting HAL’s advancements in unmanned aerial technologies.
Aero India 2025 is anticipated to draw a significant number of visitors, including defence ministers, global dignitaries, and industry leaders. The event presents a strategic opportunity for HAL to demonstrate its latest innovations, engage with stakeholders, and explore collaborations with international aerospace firms.
Organized by the Ministry of Defence in collaboration with HAL, the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), and the Department of Space, Aero India has evolved into one of Asia’s premier air shows since its inception in 1996.
Renowned for its spectacular flyovers, aerobatic performances, and state-of-the-art technology exhibitions, the biennial event offers attendees a firsthand experience of some of the world’s most advanced fighter jets, helicopters, and drones. This year, over 800 exhibits from more than 15 countries will be featured, with both domestic and international participants showcasing cutting-edge innovations in military and civil aviation.
