No one caught it.. misleading .. uncertainty will remain.. Posted and removed by Indian Embassy

Fact Check ✅

The link to make an appointment online is " provided the embassy itself". Not a scam ✅

However, the embassy deleted the post in the morning and said, "The facility does not exist..!"

What is the basis for the scam incident?

Yesterday evening Irish time, the Indian Embassy posted on its social media pages that various services can be booked online, with a link to make an appointment online: https://embassyofindia-dublin.youcanbook.me/. This was verified and published on www.indiansdaily.com the same day.

Unaware of this, the website run by  yellow writers, who go to bed early, found the  in the morning with new findings, as "SCAM" they wrote it on the portal "rosemalayam   and everyone thought it was a scam. The link was actually posted by the embassy. But it was removed in the morning and many people who booked on the system were confused.

Such websites, which are doing copycat translations without any awareness, or furthermore research even operate by making the contact location anonymous. Their goal is far-fetched.

The website that spread the fake news, including the name of an official, claims that Indian embassy officials are posting fake documents. However, our fact check team verified the screenshot sent by people on www.indiansdaily.com. It was found on the embassy's own social media pages (NOW REMOVED). This means that the email message from which the post originates is confirmed to be from the embassy.

For a long time, the people of Ireland have been asking for an appointment system. That is, to create a situation where they can use the embassy services without having to stand in lines, without having to wait, without having to be indebted to the agent. Most of the people who had come from far away had time to describe the embassy's prowess. Since there was no response to calls or emails, most of them were waiting for the agent to be obliged. The new system will change this situation to some extent. However, this post has now been removed.

Along with this, the BJP government in India has also provided the necessary support for this since it came to power, making things easier. Not only the embassy in Ireland, but embassy services around the world have recently become easier. As part of this, facilities such as e-gates have been introduced at airports.
