Haryana Woman Accused of Murdering Husband with Lover; Body Dumped in Drain, Police Say

Bhiwani, Haryana — In a chilling case of alleged marital betrayal and premeditated murder, police in Haryana’s Bhiwani district have arrested a woman accused of killing her husband with the assistance of her lover and disposing of the body in a roadside drain.

According to reports, the incident occurred in late March. The accused, identified as Ravina—a local social media influencer—was reportedly in an extramarital relationship with a man named Suresh, who also maintained a YouTube channel. Ravina had been married to Praveen, the deceased, since 2017, and the couple shared a six-year-old son.

Investigative findings suggest that Ravina and Suresh became acquainted approximately two years ago, initially through content creation. Despite Praveen’s objections to their growing collaboration, the two allegedly continued to produce videos together.

On the evening of March 25, Praveen is said to have returned home unexpectedly and found his wife and Suresh in a compromising position, which reportedly led to a heated altercation between the spouses. Later that night, police allege, Ravina and Suresh strangled Praveen with a dupatta.

In the aftermath of the alleged murder, Ravina reportedly feigned ignorance when questioned by family members about Praveen's whereabouts. Authorities believe the pair transported the body on a two-wheeler before discarding it in a drain on the outskirts of the city.

Three days later, after a missing person complaint was filed by Praveen’s family, police recovered his decomposed body. A video circulating on social media allegedly shows Ravina and Suresh carrying the body on a motorcycle—footage that has become a key piece of evidence in the ongoing investigation.

While Ravina has been taken into custody, Suresh remains at large. A manhunt is currently underway, and police continue to gather forensic and digital evidence to build a comprehensive case.

Authorities have yet to disclose whether additional charges will be filed, including possible offenses related to the concealment of evidence or misuse of digital platforms.
