PM Modi Issues Stern Warning to Pakistan from Adampur Airbase, Lauds IAF’s Operation Sindoor

Adampur,  Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a resolute message to Pakistan on Tuesday, warning that India will not spare terrorists or their state sponsors, during a visit to the Adampur Airbase in Punjab—an airbase Pakistan falsely claimed to have damaged in recent hostilities. Standing against the backdrop of India’s Russian-made S-400 air defence system and a MiG-29 jet, Modi underscored the consequences of further aggression, stating, “Another attack would lead to more destruction, more demolition.”

Addressing Indian Air Force (IAF) personnel and the nation, Modi emphasized India’s unwavering stance against terrorism, declaring, “We will not differentiate between godfathers and state sponsors of terrorism.” He pointed to Pakistan’s long-standing policy of supporting terrorist groups, a practice widely criticized internationally. Pakistan’s military and its intelligence agency, the ISI, have been linked to outfits such as Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), Hizbul Mujahideen, and the Haqqani Network, with evidence of their involvement in attacks like the 2008 Mumbai siege and the sheltering of Osama bin Laden in Abbottabad.

Modi highlighted the success of Operation Sindoor, during which the IAF destroyed nine terrorist hideouts deep inside Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), neutralizing over 100 terrorists. Key targets included LeT’s headquarters in Muridke (Markaz Taiba) and a JeM indoctrination center in Bahawalpur—camps historically tied to figures like Ajmal Kasab of the 26/11 attacks and funded by Osama bin Laden. “Our ‘lakshman rekha’ for Pakistan is very clear; any terror attack will be met with a definitive reply on our own conditions. Pakistan’s ‘naapak’ intentions have been defeated every single time by our armed forces. IAF targeted terror bases deep inside Pakistan with speed and precision that left the enemy stunned,” Modi stated.

The operation prompted a retaliatory response from the Pakistani Army, escalating tensions and bringing the two nations close to conflict, with Pakistan resorting to nuclear rhetoric. Modi praised the coordinated efforts of the Indian Army, Air Force, and Navy in countering this aggression, saying, “Pakistan will not get any sleep for a long time just thinking of our drones and missiles. Our Army, Air Force, and Navy personnel made the Pakistani army bite the dust and showed them their place. I have come here to pay homage to your bravery.” He also commended the IAF for its adept handling of sophisticated equipment during the operation.

The Prime Minister’s visit to Adampur, a strategically vital airbase, served as a powerful rebuttal to Pakistan’s claims of damage and reaffirmed India’s commitment to combating terrorism with unrelenting force.
