Trump Hails Precision of U.S. Strikes on Iranian Nuclear Facilities, Claims ‘Monumental Damage’

 Washington, D.C., June 23 — U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday praised the country's military for its recent airstrikes targeting Iranian nuclear facilities, describing the operation as highly effective and asserting that it inflicted “monumental damage” on strategic infrastructure.

In a post shared on his social media platform, Truth Social, President Trump wrote, “Monumental damage was done to all nuclear sites in Iran, as shown by satellite images. ‘Obliteration’ is an accurate term!” He added that the precision of the strikes amounted to a "bullseye," indicating the intended targets were successfully neutralized.

Referencing one of the key sites, Trump pointed to satellite images allegedly showing a deeply embedded white structure within rock formations. “The white structure shown is deeply embedded into the rock, with even its roof well below ground level, and completely shielded from flame,” he stated. “The biggest damage took place far below ground level. Bullseye!”

However, independent assessments have raised questions about the extent of the impact. Analysts reviewing satellite imagery of the Fordow nuclear facility, one of Iran’s key enrichment sites, noted the presence of six apparent penetration points in the mountainside—believed to be from bunker-busting munitions—as well as signs of ground disturbance and dust coverage.

The Fordow facility is known for processing natural uranium into uranium hexafluoride, a crucial compound used in the enrichment process via centrifuges. The full scope of the damage and its implications for Iran’s nuclear capabilities remain under scrutiny as both official sources and third-party experts continue their evaluations.
