Footage of the incident from a Coldplay concert at a 60,000-seat stadium in Boston, Massachusetts, went viral on the internet on Wednesday.
A surprising moment at a Coldplay concert has become a big topic online.
The centerpiece is wealthy computer executive Andy Byrne (50) and his human resources chief Kirstin Cabot (56). Byrne is the head of the billion-dollar artificial intelligence firm Astronomer. The two are said to be married to each other.
The video shows the crowd watching as lead singer Chris Martin jokingly says, "When the lights turn on the crowd, oh look at these two..." at the event. Before Mr. Byron runs out of view, Ms. Cabot turns to look away from the camera.
Martin continues: "Are you okay? Oh? Either they have a romantic relationship or they're just very shy. I don't know what to do..."
That means Andy Byrne, CEO of tech company Astronomer, was seen sitting next to his colleague Christine Cabot, the company's head of HR, on a kiss cam at the stadium. As the camera focused on them, they quickly turned away, but the moment was already captured and shared on social media. But the video has now been viewed more than 50 million times on TikTok alone.
People online began speculating that there might be more to their friendship, especially since Andy was married.
The biggest clue?
His wife Meghan quietly removed his last name from her social media, leading many to believe that a separation was on the way. If they go through with the divorce, she could receive a large portion of his assets under the legal rules.
The incident has sparked a lot of discussion about workplace behavior and how personal actions can impact professional roles. Andy and Kristin have yet to make a public statement. Many have taken to the internet to support Meghan and her children.
