Palakkad: BJP State Vice President and core committee member C. Krishnakumar has been accused of harassment by a woman from Ernakulam. The complaint was submitted directly to the party’s state president Rajeev Chandrasekhar via email two days ago. According to sources, Chandrasekhar’s office has acknowledged receipt of the complaint and assured that it will be examined.
In her petition, the complainant alleged that despite previously raising concerns with senior RSS and BJP leaders, no action was taken. She claimed to have first approached Gopalankutty Master, and later V. Muraleedharan, M.T. Ramesh, and Subhash, all of whom only assured her that steps would be initiated. The woman further stated that Krishnakumar, who has been vocal in leading protests against Congress leader Rahul Mankootathil, is not morally entitled to hold such a position within the party. She demanded that he be expelled from the BJP.
Meanwhile, the BJP has dismissed the allegations, attributing them to family disputes and property-related issues. Krishnakumar has announced that he will address the media at 11 a.m. today to clarify his position.
