Sydney: One of the suspects in the Bondi Beach shooting that shocked Australia traveled to the Philippines on an Indian passport, according to a report.
The 50-year-old gunman who was killed in the shooting, Sajid Akram, traveled to the Philippines using an Indian passport. The BBC reported, citing officials from the Border Authority in Manila. The Manila Border Authority explained that the passport of his son, Naveed Akram, who was with him, was Australian. According to the information coming out, they came to the Philippines to receive military-style training. The Australian Prime Minister explained that the attack was inspired by Islamic State ideas. Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese explained that this is indicated by the Islamic State flags and improvised explosive devices found in the attackers' vehicle.
