Background of the Conflict According to the police, the violence stemmed from a bitter dispute between the property owner, who operates a gym in his basement, and the facility’s caretaker, identified as Satish Yadav. The owner had previously accused Yadav of fraudulent activities and an attempt to illegally seize control of the business.
The Assault The confrontation escalated on January 2 when the couple visited the basement to inspect a water leak. They were reportedly cornered by Satish Yadav and his associates, who launched a physical attack. The owner alleged that the men molested his wife during the scuffle. When their son intervened to protect his parents, the gang dragged him onto the street, forcibly stripped him, and assaulted him in full public view.
Legal Action The Delhi Police have arrested the primary accused, Satish Yadav. A manhunt is underway for three other accomplices—Vikas Yadav, Shubham Yadav, and Omkar Yadav—who are currently absconding. Investigations are ongoing.
