Faridabad: A deeply disturbing incident from Faridabad has sparked widespread outrage after a woman allegedly lowered her young son from the tenth-floor balcony of a residential tower in a bid to retrieve a sari that had fallen into a locked apartment below.

According to reports, the incident occurred at the Florida Apartment complex in Sector 82. The sari had reportedly fallen into the balcony of a locked ninth-floor flat. Instead of seeking assistance from building authorities or other residents, the woman is said to have resorted to the dangerous measure of tying her son with a bed sheet and lowering him down to retrieve the garment.

The footage shows the child hanging precariously several floors above the ground, relying solely on the grip of those holding the makeshift rope above. The act has raised serious concerns about parental responsibility and child safety, with many social media users condemning the extreme step taken for what appeared to be a trivial reason.
