Advisory for Indian Nationals
The government has issued advisories for Indians residing in Iran, Qatar, the UAE, Israel and other countries in the region, urging them to avoid non-essential travel and closely monitor local news channels and official updates.
In a statement, the Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi advised citizens in the United Arab Emirates to “avoid unnecessary travel, take due care, remain vigilant, and follow safety guidelines and advisories issued by the UAE authorities and the Embassy.”
India has also reiterated its call for de-escalation in West Asia, underscoring the priority placed on the safety and well-being of Indian nationals abroad.
“Their safety and well-being is of utmost priority. We cannot be impervious to any development that negatively affects them,” the MEA said.
The measures reflect New Delhi’s proactive approach as regional instability raises concerns for millions of expatriates living and working across the Middle East.
